Landcruiser
The Toyota Landcruiser is one of the best 4X4's you can travel in. It negotiates difficult terrain with o much ease. Do you think any 4X4 can beat the Landcruiser when it comes to performance ?

RE: Landcruiser
The Landcruiser is a great truck, but there are definitely a few others that can hold their own off-road, such as the early 80's International Scout II, the AM General H1 Alpha (the REAL Hummer), Land Rover Defender, and even the little Suzuki Samurai. It all depends on the terrain, they all have their pro's and con's.

RE: Landcruiser
My grandfather had a 2002 Land Cruiser and it was a pretty good car...good on difficult terrain but also on straight roads. I felt sorry when he sold it because I really liked that car.

RE: Landcruiser
Well, Landcruiser is one great car, but it isn't the best 4x4. I would go for Toyota Vigo 4x4, it's much better in performance and looks. Hummer is incomparable with Landcruiser, the price difference is too much!

RE: Landcruiser
Land cruiser is a good 4x4, but not the best. There are many other to beat it. However, if you want to travel in style and in rough terrain, then truly Land Cruiser is unbeatable.

RE: Landcruiser
In the early years, Toyota sent engineers from Japan to study and rectify problems that these early Landcruisers were experiencing in Australia. Failed parts were examined and sent back to Japan in what was a key part of the R&D program Toyota conducted to develop the Landcruiser in to a market leading player. Not only did it allow Toyota to build its reputation, this level of support was impressive enough for Sir Leslie Theiss to secure the rights to import the Landcruiser in to the country full time.
