Convert from 2WD to 4WD
Well, I wanted to convert this slick 2001 Dodge Ram from 2WD to 4WD.
To anyone who has experience in this field, do you know where I can get the instructions/can you give me the instructions?

Thanks in advance.

Ah, 2500. A beast of a car.

Well, here's my advice.

Doing this will cost you a ton of money. Converting from 2wd to 4wd is absolutely not cost-effective.

Personally, what I would do is sell the truck, and then buy a 4x4.
Not only does it cost more to convert from 2 to 4wd, but also there is the concern of the huge investment of cash you require, the welding and fabrication skills, and also the time.

You'd be better off selling it, buying a new 4x4 and adding mods on it.

well he said its a v10...thats hard to come by. but for this dodge, i agree with whats been said, its way better to buy a 4x4 instead of convert urs.

Alright. I'll go look around for one.

Really appreciate your help guys, thanks. Really, I never would've thought of just selling and buying a 4x4, I was fixed on the thought of making it 4WD.

Here, I went through the trouble of looking for one for ya.
The first link is a V-8, and a 4x4. But I see you have a V-10, and so I went and looked for a v-10. This one is really great actually. Not too bad miles on it, and v-10, 4x4. The pricing is good, I recommend you have a look.
